Se7en

I managed to knock off another movie off of my queue. This time it's none other than Brad Pitt/Morgan Freeman thriller Se7en. I'll just say this right now: Se7en is one fucked up movie. There may be many more even more fucked up movies out there, but this probably the line I'd draw it at for suggestions. I knew it was a gruesome movie, but that first killing and subsequent examination at the morgue had me looking the other way for a few minutes. The rest of the killings were in a similar, but generally not as gruesome manner. It was a good movie, but it's probably not a movie I'd reach for when I need something to watch. It was nice to see what lead up to the ending that I've seen a few times. Maybe I should start rating these movies when I watch them from now on. If I had to rate Se7en, I'd give it a solid 8.

Crash Goes to Washington

I'm very thankful for movie channels like AMC and TCM with a project like this. I noticed that Mr. Smith Goes to Washington was on Sunday and made sure to watch it. It's always great to watch these movies that are referenced quite a bit in today's entertainment, as it fills in gaps in knowledge that you lacked when those references come up. I really enjoyed the movie as it's a really enthralling movie as you root for Jefferson Smith's filibuster to suceed before the corrupt machine crushes him.

I know this is a small update, but it's better than knocking only six movies in three months' time.
